Obituary Notice

Jane Kaiser, age 92, of Whittemore, passed away on June 1, 2015 peacefully in her home with her family and her husband of 73 years at her side.

She was born April 2, 1923 in Whittemore to Joseph and Martha Nichols. Jane met her husband, Ernest in elementary school. They married on July 26, 1942. They lived and raised their four children Merlin, Larry, Kaye and JoAnn in Prescott, MI. Jane provided loving care for children in her home and then worked and retired as a cook from Whittemore-Prescott Schools. Jane was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Jane was especially proud of her family. She found the love of her life and together they built the foundation for the beautiful family that she adored. By her grandchildren she was known for her kind heart and as the queen of pancakes and bread (there was no one that could make them better). She surrounded herself and her home with the beauty of her love for flowers, birds and her spoiled Boston Terriers.
Her legacy, teachings and profound display of love live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Jane is survived by her husband, Ernest. Her four children Merlin (Teresa) Kaiser, Larry (RuthAnn) Kaiser, Kaye (Robert) Leslie, and JoAnn (Joseph) Noffsinger. Her 14 grandchildren Renee (Scott) Bird, Brian Kaiser, Jason Mathe, Lori Hall, Tonia (Ed) Muckenthaler, Tracy (Andy) Hess, Teri (Dave) Stahl, Toni (Norm) Nieman, Tyler Leslie, Kaylon Leslie, Kristie (Bo) Morley, Jillann (Brian) McGee, Jared Noffsinger, Justin (Kristie) Noffsinger. Her 26 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. And her special niece Darlene Arndt.
Jane was preceded in death by her mother and father. Her siblings Earl, Irwin, Joseph, and Sylvia and her son-in-law Karl Bowlsby.

We first met Jane as a wonderful cook in the school system, and then met all her children through the years. It is easy to see why they are all so nice as they were taught by super parents. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.
