James “Jim” Thomas Miller, age 73, of Au Gres, Michigan formerly of Roseville, Michigan passed away unexpectedly August 4, 2020 at his home in Au Gres, Michigan.

Jim was born November 16, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Lyle and Eleanor (Ossowski) Miller. He enlisted in the United States ARMY May 26, 1966 and served honorably until his discharge on May 8, 1968. He obtained his G.E.D. while serving and upon discharge attended college for mechanics and electrical repair. Jim married the former Christine Pigula on August 24, 1968 and together they raised James, Wendy and Renee. He enjoyed fishing and boating and his retirement in Au Gres the last seven years.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Christine; children, James and Donna Miller, Wendy and Matt Olesky and Renee Olenick; grandchildren, Alyssa, Andrea, Angelina, Ashley, Brett, Courtney, Cyle, Erica, Jay, Kaeley, Maria, Mattison, Misty, Samantha, Savannah, Spencer, Steven; great grandchildren, Kennedi, Apollo, Aya, Ella, Jackson, Logan, Mia, Seth and Tristyn; brothers, Jerome, Lee and Brad; sisters, Beverly, Charmaine, and Caroline; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, John and Mark; sisters, Arlene, Delphine, Patricia, Liz, and Lori.

According to Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be offered at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com
