Visitation for Gloria will take place 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 407 South Washington Street, Hale, Michigan 48739. Obituary Notice

Gloria Lee Billeter, 78, of Hale, Michigan, formerly of Saginaw, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 1, 2018, at Hale Creek Manor in Hale, Michigan, with her family by her side.

Gloria was born July 6, 1940, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late John and Sophie M. (Krause) Chapman. She married Bruce Billeter and together raised four children, Gregg, Brian, Paul and Marcy. Gloria was a sales associate for many years at Weichman’s Department Store where she sold jewelry and cosmetics. She was also a secretary for Bear Archery in Grayling. Gloria was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and was an active member of the Ladies Guild. She was also a member of the Hale Chapter of Red Hat Society. Gloria was a master crocheter, winning many blue ribbons from various county fairs. She was an avid prayer warrior and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Bruce; children, Gregg Billeter of West Palm Beach, Florida; Brian Billeter of Bath, Michigan; Paul (Kirsten) Billeter of Lupton, Michigan; and Marcy Tomlinson of Saginaw, Michigan; grandchildren, Austin Tomlinson, Jamie (John) Nyberg, Kevin Billeter, and Kylie Billeter; sisters, Carole Stanuszek of Florida, and Joyce Anaman of Saginaw, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews. She will also be dearly missed by her beloved pets, Button and Tigger.
