Obituary Notice

Gilbert Trevino, age 80, of South Branch, MI, formerly of Pontiac, MI, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the Villa at Rose City. He was born on September 1, 1939 in Edna, Texas to Silvester & Lebra (da Rangel) Trevino. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1956 to 1958. He married Mary Alice Lafnear on August 18, 1956. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service as a Quality Control Inspector. Gilbert liked to hunt, fish, go to the horse races and go to the casinos.
Gilbert is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary of South Branch, MI; children, Mary Louise (Alfonso) Santiago of Pontiac, MI, Jo Lynn Trevino of Waterford, MI, Renee Leigh (Jack) Hunnicutt of Oscoda, MI, Gilbert Anthony (Tamara) Trevino of Waterford, MI, William Alexander (Kimberly) Trevino of Flowery Branch, GA; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Roy (Linda) Trevino, Alex (Brenda) Trevino, David Trevino, Andy Trevino; many nieces, nephews & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda; brothers, Nieves, Steve, Joe, Lupe, & Robert.
