My sincere, heartfelt sympathy to all of the family. "Mr. Cassidy", as I referred to him 30+ years ago when I worked as his Administrative Assistant at Tawas Industries, was my first boss when I moved to Tawas, and one of the very best. Through the years we remained great friends, (now I get to call him Jerry!) and I always felt a special bond with both him and his lovely wife Bernice. Truly a great man in so many ways. I am deeply saddened in his passing - Christmas morning at the Tawas Bay Beach Resort won't be the same without his chuckle and warm hug! I always had his favorite table and hot coffee waiting. RIP Jerry, you will be very sorely missed by all who were lucky enough to have known you.

I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I offer my condolences to you and your family. Please take comfort in God's promises in his word the Bible. He assures us that, 'he will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:4)
My wife Sandy and I met Jerry when we had a small gourmet restaurant in Tawas City. He was such a class act. He was a frequent customer and we always enjoyed talking with him. When we closed our restaurant I started doing personal chef work and delivered food to Jerry frequently. That gave us a chance to catch up. He was a pillar of the community and will be missed by so many. When I told my wife that I heard on local radio of Jerry's passing a tear came to her eye. He will be missed.
