Visitation for Gerald will take place Friday, March 19, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home, 101 East Michigan Avenue, Au Gres, Michigan 48703. He will be laid to rest in Linwood Cemetery in Au Gres, Michigan beside his beloved wife, Patricia.

Obituary Notice

Gerald “Jerry” A. Beckosky, age 87, of Au Gres, Michigan formerly of Warren, Michigan passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Jerry was born December 6, 1933 in Wayne County, Michigan to the late Alfred and Monica (Slesinski) Beckosky. Upon graduating high school, Jerry began a long time career with Detroit Edison as a meter reader. He married the former Patricia Marks on October 30, 1951 and together they raised a daughter, Karen Ann. Jerry was a skilled woodworker. He and Patricia enjoyed retirement in Au Gres since 1994.

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Karen Ann Phair, of Au Gres, Michigan. In addition to his parents, Alfred and Monica, Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Beckosky; sister, Mary Ann Devin.

Visitation for Jerry will take place on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home, 101 East Michigan Avenue, Au Gres, Michigan 48703. He will be laid to rest in Linwood Cemetery in Au Gres, Michigan beside his beloved wife, Patricia.
