Obituary Notice

Genice M. Osborne, age 95, of Hale, MI, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at The Villa of West Branch. She was born on March 5, 1923 in Prescott, MI to Orville & Pearl (Streeter) Beach. She married Percy Osborne who preceded her in death. Genice liked to bake, cook, garden, and crochet. She attended the Zion Church of the Brethren.

Genice is survived by her children, Leland (Ann) Osborne of Hale, Jerry (Susan) Osborne of Caro, Brian (Laurie) Osborne of Hale; daughter, Joanne (Steve) VanAmburg of Fife Lake; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Aaron (Jackie) Beach of FL, Wendall Beach of Prescott; sister, Hildred (James) Dobson of Whittemore; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Percy; brothers, George Beach & Theo Beach; sisters, Leota Hilts, Lorna Middleton and Orvetta Dodds.

Visitation will take place on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 2-8 pm at the Buresh Funeral Home in Prescott. Services will be on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 11 am at the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Switzer officiating. Interment will follow at the Logan Township Cemetery. I will be missing our special talks and baking sessions,. I will be missing you , Grandma. If anyone could ever want a dream Grandma, that would be you. You are the best Grandma anyone could ask for. From you I received my love of cooking, baking ,pride of homemaking and so much more. I will see you again Grandma.
