Gail A. (White) Johnson, age 76, of Hale passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016.
She was born on July 30, 1939 in Flint, to Paul and Marian (Christiansen) White. Gail retired after working over 30 years at A/C Sparkplug for General Motors. She was a member of the Hale American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, the Eagles Auxiliary, and the Hale Country Quilters. Gail loved making quilts for returning veterans.
Gail is survived by her husband of 47 years; Tim Johnson, children; Audrey (Scotty) Johnson of Houghton, and Sheryl (Ray) Revere of Clio; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Phil (Barb) White of Clio, Alice (Bill) Stanley of Mt. Morris, Jim (Karen) White of Flint, Kris (Jim) Goodwin of Clio, and Virginia (Bob) Darley of Mt. Morris; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 2, 2016, from 4-8 p.m. at the Hale Chapel of the Buresh Funeral Home, 121 Washington, Hale. Gail’s funeral will take place Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 11 a.m. also at the funeral home. The family has requested that those wishing to send flowers to please make a memorial contribution in Gail's name to a veterans organization of your choice. Tim and family, First we are very sorry for your loss. Gail who was about my sister Evelyn's age grew up in the best of times and the worst of times.
