Evelyn was a colleague of mine during the several years that I taught at Rose City Elementary. I remember here as a teacher devoted to her students. I'm saddened to hear of her death.

I remember her as my 4th grade teacher. There are many teachers but she was one that stood out. She ran a tight ship and kept everyone in line. I remember having to put my nose on the board (along with two of my friends) for talking in class. We learned quick that she didn't tolerate anyone getting out of line. At the time I thought she was my worst teacher but looking back she taught me more than the three R's. She taught respect and discipline. Something that has lasted well beyond school.

Mrs. Berry was one of my teachers at Witney country school. I knew Tom and Dale well. She was a special person. Have many memories.
