Elizabeth J. “Betty” Lewton

Age 95, of Clinton Township, MI and formerly of Oscoda, MI passed away peacefully at Rose Senior Living in Clinton Township, MI. She was born in Detroit, MI on August 22, 1922 to the late Joseph and Ethel Mulcahy (nee Barnes). During her 30 years in Oscoda, Betty was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Lakewood Shores Beach Club. She is survived by her 4 children, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and her brother Joseph “Denny” Mulcahy. Betty was preceded in death be her husband William “Bill” Lewton on July 7, 1984. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 – 9:30 am (instate at 9 am) at St. Michael Catholic Church in Sterling Heights, MI. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, MI.
