Douglas D. Moulton, age 69, passed away on Monday, October 17th, 2016 at his home after a valiant fight against cancer for almost four years. He was born on February 16, 1947 to the late Joseph and Lottie Moulton, the youngest of 13 children.
Doug was an Ironworker in the seventies and often reminded his family of which bridges he built along with one laborer. And they believed him. He devoted the rest of his career to Bopp-Busch Mfg. having started as a welder and retired in 2014 as a General Manager. He was a member of the Hale Sons of the American Legion, and the Hale 4217 Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was always tinkering with either motors or his passion of woodworking. He was an amazing carpenter. Doug was a prankster who could pick on and tease, especially the grandchildren, and they could never tell if he was serious.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Connie; his children, Amy (John) Spaid, Doug (Carolyn) Moulton, and Ryan (Laura) Moulton; grandchildren, Amanda, Cameron, JD, Korie, Parker, Mason, Autumn, and Lydia; great granddaughter, Chloe; brother, Monte (Bev) Moulton; father-in-law, Chris Miller; brothers and sisters in law, Bob and Kathy Freehling and Randy and Jennifer Miller; and many adoring nieces, nephews, and friends.
