Obituary Notice

Dennis Bernard Ubbenjans, age 65 of South Branch, passed away on February 18, 2021 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center in West Branch, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his mother; Irene, on February 14, 2021.

Dennis is survived by his sister, Denee’ (Mike Jezewski) Funk of National City. Nieces and nephews, Kristine, Chad, Josh and Julia. Special aunt, Barb (John) Sousa and cousin, Tracey Quada. Aunts, uncles, extended family and great friends; Don and Sheryl, Joe and Shelley, Greg and Leigh and many good neighbors who were like family, also survive.

Dennis Bernard Ubbenjans was born on September 9, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Bernard Joseph and Irene Faith (Corbett) Ubbenjans. He enjoyed music, living up north, “fixing things” and woodworking. Dennis served our country with the United States Air Force.

Per his wishes, Dennis has been cremated and will be laid to rest at Esmond Evergreen Cemetery in Hale, Michigan.


Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Dennis to the Iosco County Animal Shelter (3881 W. M-55, Tawas City, Michigan 48763).
