Obituary Notice

Deborah Lynn Dodd (nee Anderson), of Linwood, formerly of Tawas City and Garner, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Saginaw Senior Care Home, age 62. Deborah was born on June 9, 1956 in Bay City to Andrew and Donna (Weston) Anderson. She owned and operated her in home day care for many years, loving and caring for infants and children as though they were her own. Deborah loved the outdoors, and enjoyed boating, fishing, and dog mushing! She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Deborah is survived by her best friend of over 30 years, William Bloom; 2 sons, Christopher Dodd of Oscoda, Aaron LaValle of Kentwood, Michigan; 1 daughter, Misty (Matt) Tomanski of Walbridge, Ohio; 5 grandchildren, Alison, Aidan, Jaxson, Raegan, and Emersyn; 1 brother, Larry; 5 sisters, Barb, Linda (Norm), Becky, Cathy (Dan), and Shelly; and many dear friends. Deborah is preceded in death by a son, Michael Dodd, her mother Donna and her father, Andrew. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a burial with a Christian prayer service will take place on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Logan Township Cemetery on Sage Lake Road.
