I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Darren. We had a special connection, we share the same birthday! Our mom's met in the hospital on the day Darren and I were born. I have lots of memories of time spent at Lil and Glenn's house celebrating birthdays and swimming in the pool! Darren will be missed by everyone. Praying for strength and comfort for Kenny, Lindsay and all of Darrens siblings. Hugs and my love to everyone.

I met Darren through my Uncle Jerry Gregory. Darren would always ride down with his dog Jackson right about sundown for the bonfire. Loving, caring guy always made me laugh. Another memory is going down to his place and letting me shoot my guns in his backyard. Having fires at his place, going riding on the trails or seeing him on the pond. It won’t be the same on Pine Acres Road. I’ve always considered him part of my “up north” family. Miss you buddy! Prayers to his family!

I moved to my house on Easter and I met Darren then. We would talk and hang out every day almost. I’m so glad I got to meet him. We became very close and I’m so devastated by this. I am sorry for his families loss and I want you to know before he left he said to me “ I love you brother”. He was a amazing guy and he helped me through a lot and I’m gonna miss him so much. He loved us and the kids. He would watch our dog for us sometimes and Jax and Jamison were so cute together. She still goes there to look for them. Again I’m sorry for everyone’s loss and if you need anything I am here. Rip brother.

Every time I saw Darren he would always give me a great big hug and tell me he loved me. He was one of my dads best friends and I always loved to see him when we went up north. Darren will be missed so much! My thoughts go out to his family during this difficult time.

I'm gonna miss my best buddy and neighbor! We had a lot of good times together like taking our dogs Jax n Brett down to the river, going out on his pontoon, and sitting around the bonfire. Life just won't be the same up here without him around! God bless him and the Stallings family! And his dog Jax who loved him so much!

As usual I went to the River today and as usual I waited for Darren to show up, In my head I knew what was up, but in my heart I knew he was already there. We were supposed to take a video of him with Jax riding on the back of his jet ski. We were supposed to play our guitars and sing together. He had played his guild for me a few weeks back, never missed a beat never missed a note never missed a word to his favorite Chris Cornell song, he looked me straight in the eyes through the whole thing and did so with every ounce of energy from his soul. I told him later I could see a hundred miles into his eyes and there were a million thoughts just bouncing off each other behind those eyes, he laughed and said yes there is and they're not all good then he laughed out loud again just like he lived; Out Loud. Miss you my friend
