Dale David McCourt
Age 81, of Au Gres, Michigan died at his home on Tuesday, April 21, 2020. He was born the son of George and Matilda (Rashotte) McCourt at their home on July 28, 1938 in Au Gres, Michigan. Dale was born and raised in Au Gres and later moved back into his family home where he resided with his daughter. Dale worked for American Brown Hoist Company in Bay City, Michigan for 25 years before the closing of the business. He then moved to Au Gres where he worked for SSK until his retirement in 2001. Dale enjoyed hunting and fishing but more importantly spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving children; Becky McCourt, Michael (Melissa) McCourt, Kelly McCourt, Jessica (Mitchell) Ruse, and Shawn (fiance` Cara Sullivan) McCourt; his grandchildren; Noelle, Jehtt, Liam, Devin, Bryce, Kase, Colt, Austin, and Savannah; great grandchild, Dawson. Dale was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, James, Irene, Patsy and June; and his granddaughter Hope. A private graveside service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2020 at Linwood Cemetery.
