Dorothy Fraley, ,

I didn't see Dick a lot when I was a kid (I was very young), but I do have a couple of memories in particular. I remember when he bought an old black convertible, and took Pauline and I for a ride. Leave it to the kid to burst his bubble--"Kind of noisy, isn't it?" The only time I saw much of him after he went into the service was when he and Jim happened to both get stationed at McDill AFB. I lived in Florida at the time and Jim took me over for a visit. How I loved to watch my big brother and cousin try to outdo each other in snappy come-backs! Give a big hug to Gransma, Mom, and Dad for me cousin. Till we meet again.

I remember all the good times growing up with Dick, Jim, Pauline and myself, your Aunt Joan; your last Aunt on the Maddock side. Dick was just four years younger than me so he never called me Aunt. I know all the relatives greeted Dick with open arms in heaven.Dick's mother and father, Hazel & Lloyd, Grandma Maddock, Aunt Mary, Aunt Della, Uncle Al, Uncle Boots, Uncle Wayne & Aunt Evelyn,Uncle Abe plus all the other relatives too numerous to mention by name. I will surely miss Dick's "HO HO HO" christmas cards he sent me every year. He will be in myheart forever.

James M. Fillmore, ,

Dick and I are first cousins. Our mothers were sisters. Dick and I grew up together although not together a lot, since he lived in Flint and I on a farm in Hope. Our military careers didn't cross paths often. As kids, we spent time together in summers. Since I am not far from Arlington Cemetery, I will do my best to be there for the interment. I'll miss you, Dick.

Diane Anderson, ,

May memories ease your sorrow and may time bring you peace. So very sorry for your loss.

Pauline Fillmore DeMott, ,

A great "little" cousin who will be missed by all. We had fun times growing up in Michigan, going to movies, stopping at Vernors shop. Rest in peace Dick.
