Funeral and burial at Oak Grove Cemetery will be private.

Obituary Notice

Clifford Ray Chase, age 71 of South Branch, was reunited with his beloved wife, sweetheart and “his girl”, Diane, in heaven on February 14, 2021.

He is survived by his loving children, Gordon Chase of Munger, Todd (Tina) Chase of Munger, Martin (Krista) Chase of Bay City, Michael (Seneca) Chase of Midland and his “best bud”; Sue Chase of South Branch. Adored grandchildren, Rebecca McLauren, Sarah (Kevin) Roland, Todd Chase, Jr., Travis Chase, Tonya (Tim) Zube, Kerissa (Chris) Gauthier, Julia (Mike) Passal, Kyle Chase, Ana Chase, Kylie Chase and Emilee Chase. Four great-grandchildren, brother, Ron Demers, nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Chase was preceded in death by his wife, Diane, who passed away on January 7, 2021. Brothers, Gene and Don Chase and sister, Cheryl Demers.

Clifford was born on September 22, 1949 in Kankakee, Illinois to the late Gordon W. and June Elaine (Almy) Chase. He worked and retired from General Motors Malleable Iron in Saginaw, Michigan. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his family. He cherished his grandchildren as his face lit up whenever any of them were around…especially during Easter Egg Hunts.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 PM Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Buresh Funeral Home (121 S. Washington Street, Hale, Michigan 48739). Funeral and burial at Oak Grove Cemetery will be private.

All visitors are respectively required to wear facial coverings and practice social distancing while at the funeral home.

The Chase family would like to extend their appreciation to Compassus Hospice for their care and kindness.
