Obituary Notice

RITCHIE, CHARLIE of Whittemore, MI, formerly of Pontiac, MI passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012 at age 73.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Colene Ritchie. Daughter, Kimberly D. (James) Murphy of Pontiac and mother-in-law, Rachel Brewer. Siblings, Hebron (Ruth) Ritchie of Delaware, Maryann Parris of Kentucky, Opsie (Roger) Hoppe of Michigan and Alice (Chuck) Risley of Michigan. Also survived by several special nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ritchie retired from General Motors in 1992, he was also a retired member of UAW Local 594. He attended Whittemore Baptist Church and the Whittemore Masonic Lodge. Charlie was a friend to all who knew him, "always willing to go the extra mile". He loved hunting and fishing.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Hale Chapel of the BURESH FUNERAL HOME, 121 S. Washington, Hale, MI. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-8 P.M. Interment at Saints Cemetery in Whittemore, MI. Memorial contributions suggested to Hospice Angelic Care in Tawas, MI.

Colene & family I am sorry to hear of your loss. May you find comfort in your family and friends at this difficult time. The Bible gives hope that soon our Creator, Jehovah God, will end all suffering, pain and death. I lost my husband on February 11, 2012. We have the hope of being reunited with our loved one again.
