Charles Gerald Heinrich


Age 78, of Tawas City, Michigan died at Lakeview Manor Nursing Home on Sunday, May 12, 2019. He was born the son of Jacob and Elizabeth (Maser) Heinrich. Charles graduated from Arenac Eastern High School Class of 1958. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served our country for four years. Charles was an operating engineer for 38 years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Tawas Bay F.O.E. 2588. He enjoyed working on the family property, cutting wood, building things and tinkering in the yard, and loved spending time outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Joyce, whom he married on February 10, 1968 and together they shared 51 years of marriage and raised one daughter who survives him. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings. Per his wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tawas Area Honor Guard. Condolences may be shared at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com
