Charles “ Chuck” Watson Terry
Age 73, of Hale, Michigan died on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, Michigan. He was born on April 21, 1946 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Louis and Lelah (Wetzel) Terry. Chuck graduated from Gerrish Higgins High School with the class of 1964. After graduation he proudly served in the United States Army for three years as a sharpshooter. On August 17, 1974 Chuck married his wife and best friend, Linda Jones in Bridgeport, Michigan and together they shared 45 years together! In recent years Chuck worked for Saginaw Valley Flower Exchange, Overhead Door in Whitmore Lake and CA Haines Real Estate in Hale, Michigan. In 2009, he finally decided to step away from his working career and enjoy his well-deserved retirement years. He was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 422. Chuck enjoyed playing Euchre and loved traveling with his wife and spending time at the Senior Center. His greatest passion was hunting and in 2007 he was very proud and honored to be able to purchase hunting property for he and his son Jamie to enjoy. They were very fortunate to have been able to hunt this past November together and share many lasting memories. Chuck is survived by his beloved wife Linda and his children, Shelli Railling of Rose City and Jamie (Shelly) Terry of Hartland; two brothers, Milton (Karen) Terry and Richard (Sharon) Terry; 5 grandchildren, Tyler, Kristen, Connor, Kaysey and Samantha and 2 great – grandchildren, Payton and Everleigh. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Chuckie Terry and Marc Railling and his nephew David Terry. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Condolences may be shared at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com
