Carl - I've missed you since the day I left the old place. Many excellent memories of you in the old build room and CR5. Also many many memories with you in the old racquetball court. You're gone too soon and it breaks my heart. We all loved you and will carry on your legacy - I promise...

Carl was a man who would give you the shirt off of his back if you were ever in need. He had a brilliant mind and and was a fun game master. Carl clearly was a gifted man with a kind soul and a big heart who was loved tremendously by his family, friends and co-workers.

In your honor, songs will be sung and we will raise our pints of bad drinks in the great halls of D&D.

God Bless You Carl. You will be missed.

I think Ive known you since you were born.. Ok I was only 5 mos old at the time but Im pretty sure its been that long. We were such a close group of friends growing up. Hard to believe that life scattered so many of us and even gobbled some of up and away from each other. You will be sorely missed my friend.

I'm so sorry to have heard of Carl's passing. Having worked with him for many years there is no doubt of his technical expertise - he was one of the best and so dependable. It was his personality however that made him so enjoyable to work with. He had a great and witty sense of humor and was always interesting to talk with due to his varied interests. Never a bad word to say about anyone. It was clear however that his family was his priority and he was so very proud of Mandi. He was a very good man. My condolences to the Rayl family. May you find comfort and peace during this very challenging time.

My deepest prayers to the family. My childhood and teenage years were brightened by the friendship that I had with both Carl and Beth. The memories I have of you are of a beautiful soul. Bob also sends his prayers to the family as Carl was a close high school friend.
May you rest in peace Carl and may God bring peace and comfort to all of your loved ones and family.
