Obituary Notice

Bonnie Jean (Gray) Davis, age 85 of Edmore, Michigan, went home to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior on July 27, 2020 at Hale Creek Manor in Hale, Michigan.

She is survived by her children; Mark (April) Gray of Frederick, Maryland, Steven (Patti) Gray of Greenville, Michigan, Susan (Norman) Shepardson of West Branch, Michigan and Sandra (Karl Utterback) Gray of Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Eight Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew also survive.

Mrs. Davis was born on November 8, 1934 in Edmore, Michigan to the late Arthur and Hazel (Hagaman) Harkness.   She and her late husband; Bernard “Tunk” Gray, raised their four children before Bonnie became a Registered Nurse and worked at Gratiot Community Hospital in Alma, Michigan.  She faithfully attended Day Bethel Church in Stanton, Michigan and enjoyed baking, sewing and crocheting.

In addition to Tunk, Bonnie was preceded in death by her second husband; Keith Davis, brother; Richard Harkness and sister; Doris Silvernail.

Per her wishes, Mrs. Davis has been cremated.   A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a future date.




Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Bonnie to Heartland Hospice (564 Progress Street, West Branch, Michigan 48661).



Bonnie was a very special woman. I have so many wonderful memories of Bonnie and she will always have a special place in my heart. She loved her Lord and Savior and was devoted to her faith in all she lived. My sincerest condolences to all her children and family. May God give you strength and peace while you grieve and be forever blessed by Gods amazing gifts.
