Obituary Notice

Barney Douglas Grezeszak, age 83 of Whittemore, passed away peacefully at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital on January 7, 2021.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Dolores. Loving children, Douglas (Lori) Grezeszak of West Branch, Dennis (Aileen) Grezeszak of Howell and Donny (Penny) Grezeszak of Whittemore. Siblings, Lorraine Legarski of Lincoln Park, Leonard (Doris) Grezeszak of Rose City, Lawrence (Diane) Grezeszak, Jr. of Florida, Earl (Mary) Grezeszak of West Branch and Judy (Dave) Walters of Sanford. 13 Grandchildren, Six Great-Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Mr. Grezeszak was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Koning and siblings; Cecelia Chapman and Virgil Grezeszak.

Barney was born on March 6, 1937 in West Branch, Michigan to the late Lawrence and Wilma (Illig) Grezeszak. He worked as a Milk Hauler for the former Clover Land Co-op in Prescott and was known among many as a “workaholic”. He truly enjoyed the people on his routes and especially appreciated the time he spent visiting with farmers over the years.
