Obituary Notice

Alice M. (nee Slates) Colvin, age 71 of Hale, passed away peacefully at her home, with her family at her side, on January 27, 2020.

Alice is survived by her loving children; Clara (Robert) Nitz of Columbia, SC and Joel (Malinda) Colvin of Hale. Dear grandmother of; LaKeisha (Zackery) Raymond, Devin, Nicholas and Adrian Nitz and Dustin and Alisha Colvin. Sister of; Liz Slates of Davenport, FL. Also surviving are 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs. Colvin was born to the late Harvey J. and Betty May (Lisk) in Bentley, Michigan on October 29, 1947. She married Charles J. Colvin on February 4, 1966. Alice enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting and cherished time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Charles and great-granddaughter; Miah.
